facts: (1) it was Martinson who

first had possession of the bear, .

(2) it was-Martinson’s idea that

the bear be donated to the city,

(3) Martinson talked to Hallsor
by phone from McGunigle’s of-
fice and made the original offer.
“‘T heard him say that he would

do a full mount for nothing,”’’

writes McGunigle. “He (said he)

‘would put the mount in a glass

case and in return would have a
brass plaque affixed stating that
the taxidermy work was donated
by Bornite Mountain Taxider-
my.” .
Martinson says McGunigle’s
statement proves. the truthful-

ness of his version of the story,
and he is going to make one —

more attempt to reason with
Talstra. When contacted yester-
day by the Terrace Review,
McGunigle said no one from the
city, Talstra, Hallsor, or anyone
else, has ever contacted his of-
fice to verify Martinson’s
