(g) Extemal Lighting: No commercial yard or building shall be illuminated, or contain light sources that illuminate, adjacent or nearby residential designated properties tc an intensity similar to or higher than the levels of illumination that are created by existing street lights on the said residential designated properties. (h) Implementation: To facilitate implementation of these guidelines, any Development Permit issued for preverty within this Development Permit Area XVI may, subject to the restrictions of the Municipal Act and unless otherwise specified in the above guiuclines, vary or supplement any provisions of the bylaws regulating zoning, parking, works and services, drainage, signs, screening, landscaping and subdivision. Minor variations to an approved Development Permit which do not change the intent of the guidelines may be permitted without an amendment of the Development Penmit, subject to the approval of the Director of Community Planning.
