THAT this Rezoning application for amendment of the CD (Comprehensive
Development) zone affecting the property be approved under Section 963 of
the Municipal Act, subject to:

Completion of a design to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning; and

Submission of landscaping plans to the approval of the Parks and
Recreation Department.

BACKGROUND:
An application to rezone 1485 Coast Meridian Road and amend its present CD
Zone has been received. The site is presently occupied by truck oriented

facilities such as fuel sales, restaurant and servicing. The site is located
in Meridian Industrial Park Phase I.

PROJECS DESCRIPTION:

The applicant wishes to amend the present CD zone to include all uses
permitted in the M-l (General Industrial) zone. Minor renovations to the
existing building are proposed to accommodate new uses and to improve the
appearance of the building.
