That the Statutory Meeting of this Council be held on Monday, December
4th, 1989 at 7:30 pem. in the Council Chambers, Third Floor, Port Coquitlam
City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C.

CORRESPONDENCE:

From the Greater Vancouver Regional District, October 3ist, 1989 regarding
G.V.R.D. Loan Authorization Bylaw No. 632.

Seconded by Alderman Laking:

That City Council Support the G.V.R.D. Bylaw No. 632 authorizing capital
borrowing for park purposes in the amount of $5,750,00 for a term not
exceeding twenty years.

That approval of G.V.R.D. Bylaw No. 632 be tabled for two weeks.

to Crime Prevention Committee - Coquitlam/Port Coquitlam ~ 1990,

That Mr. Tom Brooks be appointed as the Citizen Representative to the
Crime Prevention Committee for 1990,

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution:

seconded by Alderman Stewart:

That the approval of Mr. Tom Brooks as Citizen Representative to the Crime
Preventicn Committee for 1990 be tabled pending more information being
received from the District of Coquitlam.

And That a agreement be made between the District of Coquitlam and the
City of Port Coquitlam to alternately appoint the Citizen Representative to
the Crime Prevention Committee.
