This department presently is on a four year re-zssesanent cycle (one area of four under re-assessment each year). This directive in effect will produce the need for a complete re-seseaanent immediately for all residential land and improvements, Complete sales and atatistical analysiea of all properties by classification on an annual basis. Complete coding, classification and programming vie sub-district of all real property with regerd to our computer system. CONCLUSION Based on the preceding implications, the following recommendation ie suggested: ; That this department act immediately to hire an Appraiser traines to alleviate the increased work load resulting from legislation. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Further to the addition of an Appraiser trainee to this department. It was the original objective of the Assessment Department to include such an employee in its budget for 1975. This than, in effect ia actually only stepped up for a period of six months. The original objective of the said trainee waa to relieve the increaced vork load of our present Appraiser I's, with regards to a marked increaze in new construction throughout the City.
