The City Planner also stated the walkway would be relocated for access to Kilmer School, Alderman Ranger asked for clarification on school enrollment for the area. The City Planner stated with re-alignment of the school catchment area there will be adequate space in the schools in the area. No one was present to speak on the proposed rezoning. Carried. DELEGATIONS: Delegation: His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell introduced Mr. A.I. Smith, Trustee Mr. A.I. Smith, re Eagle Representative of the Eagle Ridge Hospital and Health Care Centre who Ridge Hosp. then made a presentation to Council on the progress of the Eagle Ridge Hospital and Health Care Centre project. Mr. Smith stated the Eagle Ridge Hospital Society has been in effect since 1967, and now has approximately 150 members. Mr. Smith further stated a 26 acre site has been purchased in the City of Port Moody and he went on to discuss some of the costs involved and the staffing requirements. Mr. Smith advised in 1974 a Hospital Planning Administrator, Mr. L. O'Toole, and a secretary were appointed. Mr. Smith further advised that since that time some site preparation has been carried out and preliminary building plans have been drawn up. Mr. K.W. Antifaev then presented the preliminary drawings for Council's information advising that the hospital would be a Community Hospital offering 24 hour emergency care and pointing out the lay-out of the wards and the type of treatment which would be available at the community hospital. Alderman Traboulay asked for clarification on pediatric and obstetric care. Mr. Antifaev stated the Royal Columbian Hospital would be handling pediatric and obstetric care. Mr. Smith clarified that this was a deciaion made by the Provincial Government and that there were adequate pediatric beds in the Royal Columbian Hospital, however, the Board are
