City Engineer SUBJECT: TRAFFIC PATTERNS — SHELL STATION Bylaw No. 2509 Zoning Amendment 1190 Pitt River Road (Public Works Committee Meeting, July 24, 1990) RECOMMENDATION: That the Council approve the proposed access and road improvements for the proposed Shell Service Station for purposes of rezoning the property at 1190 Pitt River Road. BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS s At the regular Council Meeting of July 23, 1990, Council tabled third reading of Bylaw No. 2509 - Zoning Amendment, 1190 Pitt River Road until the Council meeting of August 13, 1990, so that information regarding proposed road improvements and traffic circulation could be reviewed. Attached is a memorandum and plan which was reviewed by the Public Works Committee. The plans show that there is no access to the Mary Hill Bypass, that vehicles going sovth on Pitt River Road may access through a driveway directly from Pitt River Road and that vehicles travelling north on Pitt River Road would turn on to Harbour Street to access the Service Station. wt Palpoe— I. ,Zaltyhacz, P.
