Director of Community Planning 3374 Sefton Street Development Variance Permit Planning File No. 79/89 RECOMMENDATION : It is recommended that Council pass the following resolutions: The Planning Department be authorized to prepare a Development Variance Permit 79/893 and The issuance of the Development Variance Permit be subject to: a) Satisfactory completion of Rezoning Application #23/89; and b) Submission of a landscape plan to the satisfaction of the Packs and Recreation Department. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The application is for a 5 Unit townhouse development. A Development Variance permit is required to relax the front yard setback from 7.5 m to 6.0m and the rear yard setback from 7.5m to 2.7 m. DISCUSSION: Council recently rezoned this property from RS-1 to RM-4 to facilitate this 5 unit development. The project submitted to Public Hearing has not changed. The application is now requesting issuance of a Development Variance permit to complete the approval process.
