By introducing the Community Mail Centre program in the
community, we would bring mail service to within 600 feet of
our customers' doors, at convenient sites in their
communities. We are prepared to continue to work with your
Council to upgrade our services. As no solution that is
acceptable to both of us is apparent, we believe it is
important to bring our side of the story to our customers.
Shortly, we will be sending a householder to all our affected
customers outlining our discussions to date, the proposals
from you that are addressed in this letter, and the advantages
of our upgraded program. As a courtesy we will send you a
copy of the householder, in advance, to ensure it reflects
both sides of this debate.
