RECOMMENDATION:

The Planning Committee recommends to the Administration Committee and City
Council that the City enter into a contract to provide 10 parking stalls
for the PoCo Cabaret being developed at 2616 Shaughnessy Street.

COMMENTS

In reviewing drawings for this renovation of the old cinema building, the
Planning Department noted that additional parking is required. The owner was
advised of the parking requirement. Taney have requested to enter into a
downtown parking contract similar to other buildings to rent stails from the
City.

This report has been prepared to inform Council of the requirement for
parking, and request to rent parking. The request follows City practice of

renting parking stalls for customer parking in downtown, approval is
recommended.
