‘SUBJECT: Ice Rental Rates

RECOMMENDATION:

1. That the times for prime and non-—prime times be:

Weekdays — Prime: 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 mid. .
Non-Prime: 12:00 mid. to 4:00 Ppem.
Weekends -— Prime: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 mid.

Non-Prime: 12:00 mid. to 8:00 a.m,

2. That the "non-prime" time rate for Minor Hockey,

Ringette

and Figure Skating be reduced from the present $23.50 per

hour to $19.00 per hour.

3. That the rate for games for the Junior Metropolitan Team
be reduced from $38.50 per hour to $30.00 per hour.

4, That a “prime time" commercial rate and a "non-prime"

commercial rate be instituted.

5. That the "prime time" for commercial be $60.00 per hour and
that the "non-prime" time for commercial be $45.00 per hour.

6. That these rates come into effect January dst, 1982,

7. That new rates for ice rentals come into effect.in January

of each year, rather than in September, as has been done in

the past.
