The Committee have met with the PoCo Marlins in regard to their
swim mact which they wish to hold this year June 28th and 29th,
1980, at Centennial Pool, In the past July Ist was Kinamen Day
and the Swim Team held their meet on the game day. However,
this year July Ist falls on Tuesday and the Swim Team have, for
the past two years, required two days for the swim meet, We
have had confirmation from the Kinsmen Club that they will not
be hosting a July Ist Kinsmen Day this year.

Furthermore, the Marlins wish to have a beer garden for the two
daya, It should be noted that last year, when the Kinamen did
not have thedr July lat, the Marlins did have a beer garden for

two days.

Recommendation:

The Committees recommends that the PoCo Marlina be permitted to
have their awim meet at Centennial Pool June 28th and 29th, 1980,
and that they also be permitted to have a beer Barden. This swim
moot, in the past, has been free of charge and the Committee
recommends that this policy be continued.
