A By-law to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam
to dispose of portions of Road and Lane shown dedicated on Plan aspel i 0 1979
District Lot 255, Group One, New Westminster District in exchange for
sufficient land to relocate the said portions. ,

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous
of cancelling portions of Road and Lane shown dedicated on Plan 2137,
District Lot 255, Group One, New Westminster District in the City of
Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia;

AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2
of this By-law has agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange
for*the lands comprising the portions of Road and Lane shown dedicated
on Plan 2137, District Lot 255, Group One, New Westminster District to
be cancelled; , .

’, AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised
Statutes of British Columbia, 1960, provides that the*Council may by By-
law dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as
may be necessary for the purpese of improving, widening, straightening,
relocating or diverting the highway; . ,

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City
of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized
to convey to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of
this By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land
and premises which may be more particularly described as follows:

(a) All that portion of road in Block 8 of District lot 255, Group One,
New Westminster District as shown dedicated on registered Plan 2137,
containing an. area of 0.0291 ha and included within the green outline
on @ reference plan certified by Robert M. Reese, British Columbia

Land Surveyor and dated the 6th of November, 1979, a copy of which is

attached hereto
