~4- 407. The Approving Officer shall ensure that: (a) no junctions or intersections of highways are designed so as to create an undue hazard to traffic. (b) jogs in local or collector strect alignment are avoided unless the distance between street centre lines at the jog is 60m (196.9 ft.) or more. (ce) cul-de-sac streets terminate preferably with a turning area of 15 m (49.2 ft.) radius and in no case less than 11 m (36.1 ft.) radius and shall not exceed 150 m (492.1 ft.) in length measured to the centre of the turning area. (d) walkways are provided where required. 408, The Approving Officer shall ensure that lanes: . (a) be provided in every case where, in his opinion they are necessary, (b) where provided, are arranged with due consideration to their continuity, from block to block, in order to facilitate utility construction. * . . (ce) have triangle corner cut-offs, measuring not less than 3 ma (9.8 ft.) each way from the corner. 409. Any non-navigable watercourse in lands to be subdivided may be made part of the municipal drainage system by dedication to the municipality at the time of subdivision where the right-of-way is not oe considered sufficient by the Approving Officer." 3. This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Port Coquitlum Subdivision of Land By-law, 1970, No. 992, Amendment By~ Jaw, 1979, No. 1687".
