present a brief indicating that the Council would like to see one Electoral
District established between the Pitt and Coquitlam Rivers as there

would be at least 35,000 people in the area with the building of the

Oxbow and Burke Mountain developments as well as being geographically
natural.

that Application SS#23/74 for Strata approval of an industrial building Appln. SS#23/

presently under construction on Lots 27-31, inclusive, D.L. 379, Group © m
1, Plan 2252, located in the 2600 block Kingsway Avenue, be approved.

The Committee, in its report pointed out that in approving strata subdiv..3ion

of residential buildings the City has been charging $300.00 for water

and $150.00 for parks for every unit to be created, and that it would be
necessary for Council to decide if this policy is to apply to industrial

buildings.

That as recommended in a report from the Planning & Zoning Committee,
September 4th, 1975, Application SS#23/74 to subdivide by strata plan an
industrial building presently under construction on Lots 27-31, inclusive,
D.L. 379, Group 1, Plan 2252, located in the 2600 block Kingsway Avenue,
be approved; SUBJECT to the developer paying to the City the sums of
$300.00 and $150.00 per unit to be credited to the Waterworks Capital
Reserve Fund and the Parks Land Acquisition Reserve Fund respectively.

Carried.

Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, the Council generally
agreed to the suggestion of Alderman Ranger that the Public Works Committee
review the per unit charges of $300.00 for water and $150.00 for parks
with respect to Strata Subdivisions.
