BY-LAW NO. 1300 iW LS

WHEREAS all proceeds received fron the sale of tax-sale properties

have been set aside in a reserve fund pursuant to the provisions of Section
304(1) of the “iunicipal Act", being Chapter 255, R.S.B.C., 1960;

AND WHEREAS there is on hand the sum of One Hundred Twelve Thousand,
Three Hundred Nineteen Dollars and Twenty-nine Cents ($112,319.29), including
interest earned to date;

te AND WHEREAS all Sinking Fund requirements of the City have been

satisfied;

AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable and expedient to expend the sum
of Thirty Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Dollars and Seventy Cents ($30,770.00)
including incidental legal fees from the amount on hand for the purpose of
purchasing a parcel of real property in the City;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City
of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. The sum of Thirty Thousand, Seven Hundred and Seventy Dollars and
Seventy Cents ($30,770.70) is hereby appropriated from the Tax-Sale Properties
Reserve Fund of the City for the purpose of purchasing Lot Nine (9), Block “H"
of District Lot Two Hundred Eighty-nine (289), Group One (1), Plan One
Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-three (1763), New Westminster District from Allan
John Stembridge, Mechanic, and Maureen Kathleen Stembridge, his Wife, both of
2225 Pitt River Road, Port Coquitlam, British Columbia (including incidental
legal fees) and such purchase is hereby authorized accordingly.

2. The Mayor and the City Clerk or City Treasurer are hereby authorized
to execute such deeds, plans, cheques, or other documents as may be necessary
for the purposes aforesaid.

3. This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "Tax Sale Reserve
Fund Expenditure Authorization By-law, 1974, No. 1300".
