Invitational Exhibition of Contemporary West Coast Ceramics Salt Spring Island, B.C. at ArtSpring - Salt Spring's Visual and Performing Arts Centre March 25th to the 28th, 2004 The Salt Spring Island/Japan Exchange Assoc. is sponsoring a short exhibition on Salt Spring Island to coincide with a workshop by Ichizo Yamashita, a potter from the prefecture of Ishikawa on the western shore of Japan. The purpose of the exhibition is to contribute to the development of relationships between artists and craftpersons living in western Canada and Japan.
