They are all aware of the fact that Thieu is the equivalent of répression, terror, exploitation, corruption, death, poverty, hat- red and division. “The Provisional Revolution- ary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam has consistent- ly respected and seriously ob- served the Paris Agreement. “Nevertheless, the United _ sabotage Paris Accords States is continuously sabotaging this agreement in a systematic and serious manner, while the Nguyen Van Thieu junta . . ..is carrying on with war and block- ing all negotiations . . . It is ob- vious that as long as the United | States continues its military in- volvement and its interference in the internal affairs of South Vietnam, and as long as Nguyen Van Thieu and his gang remain in power in Saigon, the sabotage of the Paris Agreement will go on, and it will still be impossible to achieve peace and national concord in South Vietnam. In 1974, six billion rubles worth of goods were pro- duced above the plan. Eleven million persons moved into new living quarters. Despite unfavor- able weather conditions the sec- ond largest grain harvest in his- tory was gathered, 195.5 million tons; 8.4 million tons of cotton were picked. . The recently concluded Com- munist Party central committee plenum and session of Supreme Soviet set high targets for 1975. Industrial, output is to rise by 6.7%, with similar advances in farming and construction. With national income planned to increase 6.5% during the year, the plan calls for a 5% rise in real income for the peo- ples Without neglecting defence needs, the Soviet Government finds it possible to reduce de- fence expenditures in the bud- ae e The budget allocates 102.5 billion rubles for financing the economy, 77 billion for social and cultural needs, 22.5 billion for social welfare expenditures. A few figures that eloquently show the direction of Soviet ad- vance: Almost 80 million production and office workers will get wage increases. More than 40 million people’s incomes will rise through higher pensions, stipends, family allow- ances. The number of students in gen- eral education schools will ex- ceed 42 million; besides nearly five million will graduate from secondary working-youth schools. With 831,000 doctors the USSR leads the world with 32 doctors per 10,000 population. New housing for another 11 million people will be built. The Soviet Union enters the new year with new proofs of the superiority of socialism and new strength to bolster the campaign for peace. Be aware of the sinister schemes . . . pushing you to a useless death! Be brave and side with the people! Firmly make up your mind and join the people to overthrow Nguyen Van Thieu and his men, and to win for yourselves the right-to life and to live in decency! “U.S. imperialism, for all. its defeats, remains utterly obstinate and perfidious.
