Re: Proposal for Installation of Bus Benches.

Dear Mr. Zahynacz:

We have been providing and maintaining Transit Benches throughout
the lower mainland including the City of Port Coquitlam for over
the past twenty-five (25) years. .

All benches are constructed of two concrete reinforced legs,

2.x 4 slat seat and plywood back with shatter proof lexan panel
enclosed in an aluminum frame. .

New locations would be applied for by City Bench Co. and submitted
to the City Engineering Dept. for approval prior to the installation
of all benches. Any relocation of existing benches would be done

by City Bench Co. upon written request from the Engineering Dept.
at no charge to the City.

City Bench Co. would be responsible for any repair, installation or
removal of benches within the City of Port Coquitlam. In addition
to a regular maintenance schedule City Bench Co. will respond to

any emergency service within a same day or twenty four hocr period.

City Bench Co. is to be billed anually at a rate of $15.00 for
each location as agreed upon, which is similar to rates charged

by surrounding Municipalities. A list of all occupied sites would
be made available to the City of Fort Coquitlam and updated yearly.
