BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

When the time for receipt of bids for the above noted property closed at 12:00
noon on Thursday, August 24th, 1989, 23 offers had been received from 22
companies and a list of the bids follows this report. The upset price for the
property set by Council on July 24th, 1989 was $3,000,600.00.

A copy of the bid that would be accepted by the second resolution set forth

above aiso follows as well aa a copy of the bid submitted by 352553 B.C. Ltd.

and the letter of repudiation referred to in the first resolution set forth
