Consideration should be given to the appointment of an
Acting Administrator pending the appointment of Mr. Pollocks
Successor.

~ In view of the fact that the City Engineer is without an
assistant and is carrying a heavy workload at Present, I would
recommend the appointinent of Mr. Ron Freeman as acting Admin-
dgtrator., Mr Freeman should alse he appointed as Deputy Treasurer
for purposes of signing cheques in the absence of the treasurer
