Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Laking asked

Aiderman Ranger to explain the ice rental rates as compared to other
groups. Aldermen Ranger and Keryluk advised the ice rental rates were
comparable to other municipalities and also other divisions within Port
Coquitlam and that Metropolitan Junior Hockey would be subsidized for

their ice rental as were other groups in the community.
