Fiorante, March 23rd, 1975, requesting that consideration be given to extending Lincoln Avenue from Woodland Drive to the Easterly property line of his property being: Remainder 12, Plan 17403 and stating that he would be willing to participate in the cost, including services, as he was very anxious to build a house for himself. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Ranger: That as recommended in a report from the Public Works Committee, May 2nd, 1975, the position taken by the Council last year in not favouring the request of Mr. F. Fiorante to extend Lincoln Avenue from Woodland Drive to the East- erly property line of his property, being the Remainder 12, Plan 17403, not be changed with respect to his like request this year in a letter dated March 23rd, 1975. Carried. From the Public Works Committee, May 2nd, 1975, advising of a letter received from Mr. G.H. Horner, Lincoln Projects Ltd., April 21st, 1975, con- cerning parking regulations at the Wilson Avenue Parking Lot, and stating that the Committee agrees with the comments made therein. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Ranger: That as recommended in a report from the Public Works Committee, May 2nd, 1975, 2-hour parking - Monday to Friday ~ 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., be established at the Wilson Avenue parking lot. Carried. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, a brief discussion ensued, and Mr. Horner, who was in attendance, advised that the parking lit is pre- sently being used by both commuters and downtown employees with all spaces being taken by about 8:40 p.m. From the Public Works Committee, May 2nd, 1975, advising that at Council's direction, the Committee has reconsidered its previous recommenda- tion with respect to the Port Recreation Centre Parking Lot Regulations. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That as recommended in a report from the Public Works Committee, May 2nd, 1975, parking regulations be established at the Port Recreation Centre Parking Lot in accordance with Drawing 210-74A-R1.
