Our foal was to produce at least 300 bowls in support of Food First's Burnaby Empty Bowls Project for the Gala fundraising event on Apnl 24, In those 90 minutes, 626 bowls were pro- duced with David Lloyd retaining his record of producing the most at an average of about one bow! per minute. Thirty vol- unteers, armed with heat guns and hair dryers, prepared the pots for the 90 minute trimming session in the aflernoon. The result was some of the finest bowls created in one place. Whether the potter created 18 or 80 bowls, each one reflected the individuality of its creator, through their elegant classic shape, altered rims or intricate carvings, of were made square!
