Maybe that’s why our thoughts turn to ghouls and ghosts and ‘things that go bump in the night. Or maybe. it’s the longer nights, Whatever the reason, ghost stories — especially “true” ghost stories — hold an irresistible fascination for many readers. Vike, who lives in Houston, B.C., is coltlect- ing true ghost tales for his new journal, The Canadian Communicator, a publica- tion devoted to topics like UFO. sightings, Jake mon- slers and sasquatches, hauntings and crop circles. His first issue explored one ghost story in detail, but it came from Ontario, says Vike, who’s better known as: .a UFO invest- igator who's tracked down an impressive number of first-hand accounts of UFO sightings from north- western B.C. residents. The majority stem from a string of sight- ings across Highway 16 earlier this year.
