DISCUSSION: The Dominion Triangle was released from the Agricultural Land Reserve in December, 1990. Since that time, Staff have been preparing an Area Control Plan that will provide policies and guidelines regarding future commercial and industrial development in the area. A Public Information Meeting on the Area Control Plan was held on September 26, 1991. The guidelines described in the Recommendations Section are intended to implement the Plan by amending the Official Community Plan to create "Development Permit Area XIi". For easier identification, it is further recommended that this area be called "Dominion Triangle Development Permit Area."
