REPORTS: From the City Engineer, February 20th, 1989 regarding Parking Restrictions on Coast Meridian Road South of Mary Hill Bypass. Moved by Alderman Lakirg: Seconded by Alderman Stewart: 1. That “No Parking At Anytime” restrictions be imposed on Coast Meridian from the Mary Hill Bypass to the Pitt River Dyke. 2. That the City Clerk take th necessary steps to amend the Traffic Regulations Bylaw if the above recommendation is approved by Council Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution: Moved by Alderman Wright: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the matter of Parking Restrictions on Coast Meridian Road South of Mary Hill Bypass be referred to the Public Works Committee for further consideration. Carried. From the City Engineer, February 16th, 1989 regarding Traffic Problems on Hastings Street. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Stewar’. 1. That a four way stop intersection be established at Patricia and Hastings. That the request to impose a speed restriction of 30 kph on Hastings from che Lougheed to Patricia be denied. That the City Clerk take the necessary steps to amend the Traffic Regulations Bylaw to reflect Council's decision on recommendations 1 and 2 above. Carried.
