SUBJECT: Right-of-way Agreement for Gas Pipeline - Justice Building Site

RECOMMENDATION:

. That Council give consideration to passage of the following —
resolution:

"That the City Clerk be authorized to accept, on behalf of the
Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam, the offer of B.C. Hydro and
Power Authority to consent to the road closure required for the assembly of
the Justice Building Site if the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam
will grant a Right-of-way Agreement to cover the Authority's 2H Gas Pipeline
presently located on Elgin Street;

; AND THAT the City Clerk be authorized to sign and return to B.C.
Hydro and Power Authority a copy of its letter of June 10th, 1982."

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

The June lOth, 1982 letter from B.C. Hydro mentioned in the
resolution quoted above is attachel as is a photocopy of the plan prepared
by the Surveyor showing the area covered by the said Right-of-way. Also
included within the Right-of-way boundary will be other City utilities and
these will. be covered by a separate Right-of-way Agreement which will be
prepared and presented to Council in due course. ; .
