the Canadian Calorie Counters, January 18th, 1914, permission be granted to “that

organization to conduct, a raffle dn the City. charging a nominal fee of 1. 00 per
ticket, with a prize of $50.00 and a maximun gross receipt of 9200, 00. Carried.
Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Traboulay inquired how
many raffles had been approved by the Council, for the city last year and the City
eu recalled that to the best. of his recollection. there were approximately : six.

municipal Committee Meeting held on Tuesday, January. 22nd, 1974 in the District
of Coquitlam and that the Comittee will be hosting a meeting of concerned Land~
lords and Tenants on Thursday, February 7th, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. in the Coquitlam
Council Chamber for the purpose of striking an Advisory Bureau, following wich a
further meeting will be held with the selected mpresentatives from each group -
one selected by the landlords - and one selected by the tenants; then the third
member of the Bureau will be selected and the job description and terms of ref~
erence for the position of Landlord & Tenant Investigator will be drawa up. The

report was received for information.
