Re: Tyner and Kinaswav

On March 7th, 1973 I sent a memorandum to all Council Committees and certain
senior staff members concerning the feasibility of closing Tyner Street from Kingsway
Avenue to Hawthorne Avenue and replacing the same with a footpath in order to:

lL. Reduce traffic flow pasr Mary Hill Junior Secondary School;

2. Reduce traffie noise past Hawthorne Manor;

4, Remove & poor traffic intersection.

3. Save woney by not having to improve a bad road;
