Page B2 — Terrace Standard, Wednesday; March 6, 1991 Farewell to Fosters. On Saturday, Feb. 25, family and friends gathered at the Elks Halt for a farewell dinner and dance for Meryl and Elmer Foster. They were piped into the hall “by two members of of Terrace Pipe and Drums and escorted to ‘their table by the three of their five daughters who live in Ter- race. - Meryl and Elmer have resided on Dobbie St. for close to 23 years and there are a lot of neighbours and friends who will miss them. However, with both their mothers living in Ontario, they decided that is where they should be at this time. Wishes for a speedy recovery go to Elmer’s sister, Marianne Buday, who recently suffered a stroke but was able io get a pass to attend the dinner. Meryl and Elmer thank everyone who attended the din- ner and for their gifts of photos of the Old Skeena bridge and Copper Mountain and River where Elmer did a lot of fishing. kKaekkKk On Thursday, Feb. 21, Thor- Agnes Schultz She wins again!
