WABAMUN PLANT SETS ANOTHER SAFETY RECORD Building Products of Can- ada Limited, Edmonton, has achieved another outstanding safety record at its Wabamun, Alberta, Plant. At a Safety Seminar held in the Wabamun Community Hall, Mr. Jack Lee, Safety Supervisor of the Workmen’s Compensation Board, con- gratulated the Company and the crew on their achievement and presented a “No Acci- dent” Award to Mr. Jack Harrison, the Plant Superin- tendent. Safety films were shown by Mr. Lee who cautioned every- one present on the danger of becoming complacent about gums accident prevention, particu- larly following a long acci- dent-free period. Mr. Harri- son stated that insofar as the Company was concerned safe- ty came first with production following automatically. Accident-free records and Safety Awards are becoming a habit at this Wabamun plant . . . these IWA members also worked without accident dur- ing 1964, 1965 and 1966.
