AND THAT the Coquitlam R.C.M.P. Detachm.nt and appropriate City
staff be so advised. Carried.

At the request of Alderman Keryluk, it was agreed that information
be obtained from the B.C. Hydro as to the reason for the frequent power
outages on the North side of the City.

Alderman Mabbett advised that the sum of $10,500.00 is required for
construction of 1400' of sidewalk and curb and gutter from Shaughnessy
Street to Hastings Street along the North side of the Lougheed Highway
with the Department of Highways to share in the cost of constructing only the

curb and gutter therefore on a 50-50 shard basis with the City.

Seconded by Alderman Thompson:

That the sum of $10,500.00 be allocated for construction of 1400'
of sidewalk and curb and gutter, from Shaughnessy Street to Hastings
Etreet along the North side of the Lougheed Highway, with the cost of
constructing the curb and gutter therefore to be shared on a 50-50 basis
with the Department of Highways; and that an effort be made‘to have. the
Department of Highways provide a boulevard between the Highway and the
sidewalk. Carried.

From the Senior Building Inspector, being the Fepruary, 1977 report

of building permits issued. The report was received for information.

Municipal Policing Report for the month of February, 1977. The report
was received for information.
