‘THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM 0 [| \ C; SEP 21 1981 MEMORANDUM Mayor and Aldermen September 16th, 1981, R.A. Freeman, City Clerk. Petition — Four Way Stop at Vincent and Manning Council members will recall that at last week's Council meeting the following report was received on the above noted subject from the Public Work's Committee: "The Committee received a petition to Council for a four-way stop at Vincent and Manning. This intersection is not considered to have a problem having had only two recorded accidents in the last three years. Under our normal policy the intersection would not qualify for even a two-way stop. Therefore, The Committee recommends that the request for a four-way stop be denied". The Council, at its meeting of last week voted in favour of acceting the Committee's recommendation and thus denying the request for a four-way stop sign. The lady who submitted the petition, Mrs. Bonnie Harvey, has requested permission to appear before the Council and speak to her request and there will be an appropriate item sn the Agenda for the Council meeting of September 21st, 1981. A copy of the petition and our reply of August 6th, 1981 to Mrs. Harvey is attached. City Clerk. RAF/al
