POLICING REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF

TQ THE MAYOR OF PORT COQUITLAM

On June llth an armed robbery occurred at the Bank of Montreal
branch, 2564 Shaughnessy St. A 19-year old Maple Ridge man
has now been charged with this offence, as well as for a
Similar robbery that occurred in Coquitlam on June 17.

He has also admitted to several other robberies elsewhere

in the lower mainland.

On June 22 an armed robbery occurred at Wings Market. Two
persons were subsequently arrested in Nanaimo and have been

charged with this offence.

On June 26th a woman who lives alone with her 12-year. old
daughter was raped during the early morning hours in her
home. The type of offence is very similar to a series that
have occurred in recent months all over the lower mainland.
There is no Suspect at this time.
