Mayor Laking received the attached letter from the Village of Belearra asking

if we could assist them by including two of their employees in the City of

Port Coquitlam's benefit program. As the letter points out as a small group

they are not able to take advantage of group rater. We have checked this request
out with our various insurance carriers and there is no problem in including these
two employees in our group with the exception of the group life coverage. The
coverage would include medical, dental, extended health and the wage indemnity
program. Our Payroll Department advised that there would be no problem in
incorporating these people and we would simply bill the Village of Belearra monthly
for the premium coat,

If Council has no objection we will proceed with this request.
