~2- Upon receiving these recommendations the Committee requested an open public meeting which was held May 3lst, 1973 with the Planning & Zoning Committee Chairman, the Health & Welfare Committee Chairman and the Planning Officer. On Friday, June 8th, 1973, the Planning & Zoning Committee Chairman and the Health & Welfare Committee Chairman and the Planning Officer met again to discuss the proposed by-laws for inclusion in the Zoning By-law. After a lengthy discussion and taking into account the results of the public hearing, the following points for inclusion in the by-law were agreed to. 1. Family Day Care, Croup Day Care and Out-of-School Day Care should be permitted in the RS-1l, RS~2, RM-1, RM-2, P-1, P-2 and A-1 zones. 2. Pre-schools, Kindergartens, Nursery Schools should be permitted in the P-2 zones. 3. Child Minding Services because of the limit to 5 children in short duration keep would be allowed without a permit. 4. An application fer up to 8 children in the RS-1, RS-2, A~l1, P-1, P-2, RM-1 and RM-2 zones would require notice be given only to the adjacent property owners and those properties immediately across the common street. ยง.
