The shelter is located at the corner of Haugland and Evergreen and the depot on Evergreen just north of the shelter. In the case of the depot, the proposal is straightforward: temoval of the building and foun- dation plus filling in any excava- tions with levelled gravel. The shelter work, however, has been divided into three parts with removal of the building and foun- dation being ome. Taking down the fence sur- rounding the building has been broken out as a separate item. This is in response to a Skeena Valley Goif and Country club re- quest the city donate the fence on the understanding the club would remove it. Noting other such groups might be interested in the fence, the then-council decided it should go out to bids. The final proposal is for the complete clearing of the remain- der of the lot. This is in preparation for con- struction of the affordable hous- ing project scheduled to get under way this spring.
