He built the first building in thal area. With the excaption of a few years away in Kelowna he has been a resident of this area since thal lime. Mr, Peters har also been active in the Men nonite Bretharen Church, and ir. 1963-64 served as. a councilman on the municipal council. Peters Ve Puppet This summer, the Depart- ment of Consumer andCorparale Affairs is again conducting a program of puppet shows for children across Canada, as part of the sludent summer em- ployment program. The purpase of the showsis to reach children form five to ten years of age with basic sali 2y rifes. ‘Through the visit of children from auler ‘space, Binkly and Doinkel, who are not aware of the possible dangers on earth, children in the audience will be exposed to rules for home and bieycle safety. The program concentrates on the symbols whish are used on jabels of household chemical products to identity whether the - product is poisonous, explosive, corrosive or flammable.
