3 The Council of a member municipality advise the Secretary of the Regional District of any concerns or objections: and/or An Electoral Area Director advise the Secretary of the Regional District of any concerns or objections. “hen within the next (90) ninety days following receipt of any such objections, the Regional Board shall attempt to resolve such objection(s) with the council of the member municipality or director of the electoral area as the case may be, and if unable to do so a statement of the objection shall be included inthe Regional Strategic Pian. Prior to adopting a Regional Strategic Plan, the Regional Zoard will hold a public hearing at which ail persons who oelieve their interest is affected shall be afforded a reasonable epportunity to be heard or present written submissions. Notice of the public hearing shail be as provided in Section 357(2) of the Municipal Act. Prior to adopting a Regional Strategic Plan, the Regional 3oard will submit it to the Minister of Municipal Affairs Recreation and Housing, together with the results of the research, review and analysis and a summary of consultations ‘or review and comments. he Regional Board may amend the Regional Strategic Plan ‘rom time to time and, for the purposes of such amendments, will follow the procedures set out in this resolution. The Regional Board shall monitor and report from time to time 5n the effectiveness of an adopted Regional Strategic Plan in achieving the objectives set out in the Plan. The Regional Board will conduct a review of an adopted Regional Strategic Plan, including all the steps set out in Section 3 of this resolution, no later than the fifth anniversary of the date of adoption of such Plan. Adoption of a Regional Strategic Plan does not commit the Regional District, a Greater Board, member municipality, or the Bowen Island local trust committsa to proceed with any action, or project contained in the Regional Strategic Pian referred to therein.
