October 19, 1987 /262 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the "Campbel! Room", Best Western PoCo Motor Inn, 1545 Lougheed Highway, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, October 19th, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown, City Treasurer J.G. Maitland, City Engineer F.E. Peters, Parks and Recreation Director K.J. Taylor, and Fire Chief J.E. Boileau. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaws would now be considered: BL/01/87/10/19/01 Bylaw No. 2309: To rezone the North 75 feet of Lot 2, Block "D", West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 6, Plan 11944, New Westminster District from RS~1 (Large Lot Residential) to RM-4 (Apartment Residential). The property is located at 3440 Coast Meridian Road and the rezoning would permit the construction of a multi-family residential development on the property. Ms. L. Rayner, 3450 Coast Meridian Road, requested assurance that she could ~develop her property in the same manner ‘and asked if this rezoning would restrict the type of building she might build on her property shou!d she wish to rezone. Ms. Rayner also inquired as to whether or not the City had any control over the color of the building. The Director of Community Planning replied that future decisions of City Council regarding rezoning could not be guaranteed, and That the timits ptaced on this particular development concept would be essentially the same as the limits placed upon any development of Ms. Rayner's property in as much as the two are very close in size and shape. BL./02/87/ 10/19/03 Bylaw No. 2310 To rezone Lot 5, Section 6, Township 40, Plan 75121 New Westminster District from RT-1 (Two Family Residential) to RS-2 (Small Lot Residential). The property is tocated at 726 Evans Place and the rezoning would permit the subdivision and development of the property as two single family residential lots. No one was present to speak at the Zoning Public Hearing.
