. Q ; INTER _OFFICE MEMO C 0 \ C T0: Mayor and Aldexmen DATE: August 29th, 1973 SEP ~ 4 1973 FROM: R.A. Freeman, City Clerk G.ce Re: Expropriation of Sewer Right-of-Way A copy of By-law No. 1271 is attached to this memorandum and the same is available for first three readings on Tuesday, September 4th, 1973. Also attached is a photocopy of the Right-of-Way Plan showing the area over which the Right-of-Way will be obtained upon completion of the expropriation proceedings. | The owner of the property in question is Mr. F.J. McAuley and his address is listed in our Assessment records as 1301 Robson Street, Vancouver 5, B. C., but this address is the Seamen's Mission and we know Mr. McAuley to be a deep-sea sailor and our latest information is that he serves on an oil tanker in service between Arbia and Japan. Some members of the Council will recall that another Right-of-Way was expropriated over Mr. McAuley's property approximately two years ago and this was concluded with Mr. McAuley accepting the nominal $1.00 payment in full settlement. The Right-of-Way is required to provide sewer service for Lots 7-and 8 on Vincent Street and Mr. Borch will doubtlessly be able to provide further details at the Council meeting if this is required. .
