NEW BUSINESS: Alderman Laking referred to the problem of trains blocking traffic at crossings on the Westminster Subdivision line, and the City Clerk ttraffic at level advised that a reply had been received to a letter sent to the Canadian Pacific Railway Company in that regard stating that an effort would be made to alleviate this situation; however, at the present time the C.P.R. is accommodating Canadian National trains until the train bridge over the Fraser River at New Westminster has been repaired.
