Columbia would be a dismal place indeed.

To ignore the fact that,this harmony must exist if people are
going to exist, as some are doing, is pure folly. Certainly wemust
protect those parts of our Province which are necessary for the
continued existence of birds, animals and fish, but that does not
mean blocking off enormous areas of land and water, forbidding
people to enter.

There are places in nature’s world where people havenoright to
trespass, just as there are places in people’s world where nature
has no right to trespass. Thatis part ofthe harmony, and it must
be protected. ‘
