A special meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of
The City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port
Coquitlam, B.C. on Thursday, October 6, 1988, at 7:30 p.m.

Mayor LL.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.C. Farnworth,
J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, and R.H. Talbot in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City
Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer T.M. Chong, City

Treasurer J.G. Maitland, Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown, and
Parks and Recreation Director K.J. Taylor.

That the “Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240, Amendment
Bylaw, 1988 No. 2346" be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted. . oo

WHERFAS the "Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 12,
1988, No. 2352" received first two readings on April llth, 1988;

AND WHEREAS the Council has, since that date, considered the proposed
amendment to the Official Community Plan in conjunction with the City's
most recent Capital Expenditure Program;

AND WHEREAS the Council has, since that date, considered the proposed
amendment to the Official Community Plan in coniunction with the Economic . fg
Strategy Plan entitled "Port Coquitlam Industrial Development Strategy”; Pa!

AND WHEREAS no applicable Waste Management Plan exists fur consideration; 7 Pe Le - \
AND WHEREAS the required statutory procedures, including the holding of a

Public Hearing, have been followed and the said Bylaw No. 2352 was read a :
third time on May 16th, 1988. ;
