BYLAW NO. 2114

A Bylaw to authorize the expenditure of monies
In the "Development Cost Charge Reserve Funds".

WHEREAS pursuant to Section 719(7) of the tMuntclpal Act", being Chapter 290,
R.S.B.C., 1979, the Council! established Development Cost Charge Reserve Funds;

AND WHEREAS !t+ is deemed desirable to expend a portion of the monies set aside fn
the Development Cost Charge Reserve Funds;

AND WHEREAS Council is permitted under Section 679(1) of the Municipal Act to
acquire property in the municipality for pleasure, recreation or community uses
of the public;

NOW THEREFORE the Municlpal Councl!i of The Corporation of the City of Port |
Coquitiam in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

The sum of $77,000 Is hereby appropriated from the Public Open Space. Development
Cost Charge Reserve Fund to be used for a capital payment, Including planning,
engineering and legal costs, for providing public open space by acquiring title

to that certain parcel of land situate In Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, which:

Should any of the above amounts remaln unexpended after the expenditures hereby
authorized has been made, any unexpended balances shall be returned to the ¢ credit

of the specified Reserve Fund.

Fund txpenditure Authorization Bylaw, 1985, No. 2114",
