On October 25th, 1976 it was duly moved and carried that the Municipal Council

go on record as recognizing the need for wearing automobile seat belts.

As a great number of companies and also the Provincial Government have deemed
it advisable to enforce the use of seat belts on company-owned or leased

vehicles, I would recommend to Council members:

.

1. That we make it a policy of the City of Port Coquitlam, that operators
of City-owned ot leased vehicles use the seat belts at all times;
2. Also that we see that all said vehicles advertise the I.C.B.C.Seat Belt
