Re: Re-routing of Traffic on Western Drive

I am very concerned about the continuing problem of speeding vehic

.on Western Drive. As you are aware we have in the past looked at solutions to

the problem. I would like to suggest that a possible solution may be the
re-routing of traffic to Mary Hill Road by way of Thea.

“"Z Move that a temporary. closure of Western Drive at Thea be
implemented for a trial veriod of one month, beginning on Thursday, May 1st
. until Monday, June 2nd, 1975."

This would be an experiment and should be treated in the same light
as it would be treated if it was necessary to do extensive road work on Western
“Drive North of Thea, .

I am asking the Clerk to place this on the Agenda for April 14th as
“a "Notice of Motion" to be formally made the following week; thus giving the

Council time to examine my proposal carefully before bringing: it to.a vote.
