The next general meeting of the Potters Guild of B.C. wilt commence
at 7 pm Wednesday, April 20th at Van Dusen Gardens, 37th and Oak

Afterwards you are invited to etay for a dtacuaston about our
Ceramica ‘9d exhibition and our Annual Sale. Exhibition chairman
David Zawaduk will present the plane for "Ceramics '83" seheduled
for later thie year. It will be a "Theme Show" and an information
sheet and entry detatle will be forthcoming.

ANNUAL NOVEMBER SALE

It was announced in the Mareh newaletter that our annual sale
would be held at Van Dwaen Gardens on November 18 (Friday).

Te date has been changed to Sunday, November 27. The Guild
has held 'Hyeroft' for sixteen yeara now and it haa become
quite a tradition. In the past it hae been the one event

of the year when the Guild "faces the publie" -- our chance

to offer a large selection of good quality work for sale at
reasonable coat and at the same time the profits have been

used to ¢eover our annual overhead expenses. However in light
of the abrupt announcement by Hyeroft House of the termination
of ow rental faetlity we are faced vith a host of new
conetderationa and this will of necessity have quite a different
format that the 'Hycrofte' of the past. We are Looking al...
Limited set-up time (about 24 houre) ... limited espace ...
tnereased competition ... need of inzreased publieity -- to name
a few of the changes. We could use a lot of feedback at thia
time, so bring your ideas to the April meeting when we will diseuss
prospeets and directions we could puraue.
