Robert Francis McLeod

December 5, 1930 - December 6, 1999
Bob McLeod, 69, resident of Kitwanga, passed away in Mills Memorial
Hospital in Terrace af complications following surgery for catan cancer.
He Is lovingly survived by wile Rosa and 4 children, Claudia (Ralph) Perry,
Bob (Susie) McLeod and Lewis McLeod. He also has 4 grandsons, Keith
_ and Jeff Perry, Collin and Robin McLeod, and the blessing of a great grand-
daughter, Falicia Perry.”
’  Amemorial was held in Gitwangak village Thursday, Dec. 9, Funeral sarv-
ives took place Friday, December 10, with Intemment in Kitwanga valley
" Cemetary.

. Bob worked for the CNR throughout B.C, and Alberta until 1967, when he
‘bought a general store at Red Pass Junclion. He parinered in the
* garage/restaurant at Gedarvale from 1969 - 1973, Aetuming to Terrace, he
- did office work for Skoglund Logging, and latar for GFTK. In 1999 ha moved
“to Kitwanga, working as an ordained Anglican minister and as an offea

worker for Kitwariga Lumber, He retired from Kitwanga Lumber in 1996, but
continued fo lead church services. Bab was adoptad into the Gitwangak
’ Frog clan, and named Hiak'asxw (Seaweed),
This faithful servant of Ged was a loving, sharing, humble and decent
man, unafrald to stand up for what he baliaved.
Tha family offers thanks for the kindness and dedication of the nurses of
: Wrineh Memorial and Mills Memorial Hospilats, with special mention of the
ICU nurses in Terrace, and to Dr. Eckleldt, Dr. Chabin, Dr, Hougason, Dr,
Evans, Br. Kenyan, & Or, Philips.
